Shipping & Delivery

We ship USPS, calculated at time of checkout or you may pick up in the store at no charge. Most orders will ship in 2 -3 days.

If your order includes large, over sized, or awkward items we will contact you.

We can fit 7 yards of fabric in a USPS flat rate envelope for $6.65, if you order more than 7 yards of fabric or have odd shaped items, choose the flat rate medium box for $13.60 as the shipping option.     

Privacy & Security

Customer confidentiality is important to us. Your personal information will never be sold to a third party. Our newsletter is managed by Constant Contact, who also keeps information private.

Is my card safe?

We use a third party for all online credit card processing and storage. We (The Cotton Patch) do not process the card. When you save your information, we access it securely and it does not touch our servers. All we can do with your card is refund.


Returns & Replacements

We will credit or exchange unopened/unused merchandise, in sell-able condition within 30 days of purchase. Store Credit Only. This does not apply to cut fabric, books or patterns. Cut yardage cannot be returned , unless damaged or defective. Sale items and fabric yardage cannot be returned. Due to copyright laws, patterns and books cannot be returned. Note: There is a 25% restocking fee on all returned kits and machines.

Ordering

Orders placed online after 5pm Monday - Friday will process the next business day. Saturday & Sunday will process Monday.
Most orders ship within 48 hours.


Frequently Asked Class Information

Online Class Order Policy

Signups/orders of classes online must be done 2 business days before the class. If there is less than 2 days till the class begins, call the store during normal business hours and we will be happy to sign you up over the phone. 


When should I sign up for a class?

We ask that you please enroll in classes at your earliest convenience. Each class is assigned a minimum and maximum number. If we do not have the minimum enrollment met 2 days before the class date the class must be cancelled, if the maximum has been met then there will be a waiting list.


What is the registration procedure?

Class sign-ups are taken in the store, over the phone and on The Cotton Patch website. When signing up over the phone the supply list will be emailed to you or you can pick it up the next time you visit the shop.  


What happens if I need to cancel?

For classes taught by out-of-town teachers (see ** nest to teacher's name) can be cancelled up to 30 days in advance for a store credit. Classes taught be local teachers can be cancelled up to 72 hours in advance of the class date for a store credit.
Sending a friend in your place is completely acceptable and encouraged. 
For classes cancelled by The Cotton Patch a store credit will be issued for the class fee.
